Vinted seller - counterfeit item

I sold a pair of trainers which were given to me as a gift from my sister in law on Vinted. They were too big for me, a size 5 when I wear a size 4.
The woman who bought them tried them on and said they were fake as they were bigger than a size 5, and I knew they were fake etc etc. They were bought in a sports shop who is no longer trading, but was reputable when it was open. They were sold in The box with the proper Puma paper covering etc
Vinted looked at photos I sent but said they were counterfeit. Payment was cancelled and they Wouldn’t tell me why they came to this conclusion and also told me the buyer is not obligated to return the item as they are deemed counterfeit.
I want the trainers back so I can confirm they are counterfeit, but now the buyer has a brand new pair of Puma trainers which I believe to be real!
Can anyone help with my rights here?

Vinted just side with the buyer so you can either just put it down to experience or take the buyer to the small claims court. court is the only option if you want rights.
