    someone on here had 40+ I have only managed 7. Any further ones are declined

    I wouldn't bother for the sake of 2%. Inflation is soaring and interest rates will follow in the next year.

    Inflation will be higher but there's likely to be some savings offering in the region of 2% once base rate rises to 0.75% next year.

    It could well be, if you are planning on taking out a mortgage, a loan or a credit card in the next 6-12 months, as lots of hard searches in a short period of time are often considered a sign of financial distress.
  • Got 4 accounts before it stopped accepting me! Still that’s £4000 earning 2.02% a month. Probably drop the rate next week knowing my luck!
