Now TV Broadband Renewal

I have received email from Now TV regarding my options as I approach the end of my 12 month broadband contract.
I currently pay £23 per month for 36mbs fibre m, landline and anytime call package.
There renewal offer is a new 12 month contract at £31 a month for 12 months, or a 30 day rolling contract at £23 per month with no exit fees.
Sounded strange that the non contract rate was significantly cheaper than the 12 month contract.
Am I missing something?
I accept that I am at risk of a price rise at some point, but if it is too much I will leave with no exit fees.

That does feel a bit strange that new contract prices are way more expensive than the 30 day rolling contract. It’s like they don’t want people to sign a new lengthy contract.0

I'm presuming you mean £22 a month rather than £23 BTW. They include free landline calls for the first 12 months for new customers but tend to be a bit stuffy for renewing customers with free calls.1 -
