I think a zero hours contract means no work, no pay. The OP said living. travel costs were included as part of the pay rate so not a separate amount.
It is probably a good contract in normal times but the current situation is not normal times so unforeseen circumstances have arisen.2 -
Sorry this reply comes late but people with a medical exemption from getting the vaccine do not need to self isolate if they are a contact

too late for this round of isolation but might help if there is a next time.

There is now potentially a next time.
My back to back has just tested positive. I'm doing the 12hr day shift, he does nights.
We sit at same desk, same chair, use same computer, etc. We have a 10 minute hand over on shift change.
Not sure what this will mean for me.0
