Imagine someone asking you if comping is worth doing.
What one reason would you give to encourage them and what one thing would you warn them about?

I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology

When you talk down to others it says more about you than them.

Pro: The thrill of an unexpected win (they ALL are unexpected!)
Con: Have to learn not to be disappointed when you don't win, particularly for things you set your heart upon (and NOT winning can last for years!!)3 -
Pro...the feeling of winning a prize and a detraction from anything

It’s a great way to distract one’s self from all the bad news going on.
It can be very time-consuming, hours spent comping with no rewards, so in reality much of that is wasted.

Pros: Great hobby to do, you can do it when you are listening to music or catching up on a TV show or film, can be shared with others and friendships can be made. and possible rewards.
Cons: I feel judged by some, those that don't understand the enjoyment and comping, also when you do win something, people think they are entitled to it or put in 'their order' as if you can pick and choose and you're going to put your time in to winning everything for them.
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.2 -
Pro: The feeling of 'in it together'.
Con: Making a mistake when listing or replying, and feeling like you've let others down.I am brave, I am bruised
