OakNorth Notice Accounts

Hi there looking for a bit of info really from those who have one of these accounts.    On their application page it asks for your intended deposit.  Is this amount your initial deposit or what you intend to deposit in total?  If this intended deposit amount is your first deposit amount what happens if you send less as a trial run to the account?  Is online registration not enabled until you've transferred the intended deposit amount you specified.  Thanks in advance for your help.

When I applied, I entered the total amount I intended to save. I then sent a £1 test payment, followed by the remainder without any issues.

I presumed the figure is so they know roughly how much you intend to save, although I've not come across this approach with any other bank. In my case, my 'intended deposit' figure was accurate but I doubt it matters if the final amount turns out to be different.
