Transfering photos

Can i transfer photos from an old SD card, to the gallery in my new phone.

If both phones are Android and you had Google Sync/Backup on, they should all be online at photos.google.com and you can decree what you want to download again.

If it fits in your android phone then use the galley app or my files app to copy them over1

should have said if you use my files copy the photos from the sd card to dcim / camera1

If the photos are particularly important to you, make sure you have a copy of them somewhere else in addition to this SD card....2

If you have an Amazon prime account, you can get unlimited online storage for photos. Not sure how long that will last into the future but it’s is there now.It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....1
