There's a bunch of better EV options than a Leaf. The choice is rapidly expanding. With used prices so high, now's a great time to buy new. My MG5 has depreciated by just £1500 in 10 months; some people who got a better deal than me could sell today for what they paid new.
    Define 'better' than the Leaf?
It's still a perfectly good EV, Nissan know what they're doing, and there are some amazing deals going around.
It may not have the latest interior with screens and i-pads instead of push buttons, but that's the only real minus point (and it's a plus point for many who are anti-screen).
I've also jazzed up the looks by fitting bigger wheels of a Qashqai, a bonus of it being part of a larger range and common parts.
The MG5 doesn't interest me, it's just so damn dull to look at and the MGZS is equally old in its styling (looks like a 10 year old IX35).
I'm not a badge snob though and the rumoured ZS replacement is nice and modern looking.
Our next EV will be an SUV, ID4 or Ariya.
My next EV will probably be smaller, I don't need the size of the Leaf.
A higher range Honda E would do, I can't be bothered going back to the constant charging of 90 miles range now that I'm used to 150 miles.
