It's a permanent offer - they used to have a wrapped 4-pack and delisted that as part of their plastic reduction strategy, so now you can buy 4 individual tins on the 4 for £1.20 offer.
It doesn't matter if the offer ticket is displayed or not, if it's on the website it will activate at the till.1 -
I prefer Branstons, and have noticed they've got up a bit.
Best I've found is a 6 pack for £2.49 in farm foods, then use the £2 off when spend £25 voucher, making it effectively £2.29 it spend bang on or a few pence over the £251 -
Best tasting beans I have tried for ages are Tesco’s discounter stores Jacks. If you fortunate to have a local one well worth trying them."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

You'll also notice the fast disappearing Smart Price items from Asda.
And in some cases (like burger relish), not even manufaturered any more!1 -

The price increases/limited supplies to seem to be targeting the budget items. Could it be they sell so many that a 5p or 10p increase on them adds up far more quickly than the same increase on more expensive items. It can't be all down to the EU or why hasn't Tulip tinned meat from Denmark gone up in price at all?

My recommendation is the 'Corale' brand (Aldi's own brand) from ....Aldi (of course). They are cheap, last time I bought some you could get four tins for about £1.09p (so,about 28p a tin).I absolutely love these baked beans,I actually am always disappointed with any other brands and will only ever buy these and always need to stock up when I go to an Aldi.Just as a bit of an experiment,I saw that Heinz baked beans had a special offer in another supermarket so I bought some the other day,it has been ages since I bought Heinz and they are supposed to be a cut above the rest,so ,I did a taste test to see if I would prefer them ,and I still think the Aldi ones are better, and they are a third of the price (and that was even when Heinz were in an offer)0

I always drain most of the sauce out with a sieve after having heated them ,then I mix with soya sauce and 'Engevita' dried yeast flakes to make the sauce cheezy (delicious, you can thank me later

I buy organic Italian chopped tomatoes by the tray (12 x 400g), from Amazon. Last order was in September and cost 10.49 with free delivery. Looked last week and prices were 11.19 + free delivery and 15.65 + free delivery.
Costco had same tomatoes for 6.89 per tray with 5.99 delivery per order in September and they are now 7.29 + 5.99 delivery. I wanted some other stuff so bought from Costco. Buying a 1.5 litre organic oil saved me me £5 on the per 500ml price at Morrisons. I'm an online member, not for the food but for other prices eg fans, mattresses etc. I save the cost of membership every year.0
