Retain credit cards with zero income

in Credit cards
Some months ago I quit my job, reducing my household income to almost zero (not for this thread), this means that I wouldn't meet the eligibility criteria for the credit cards I hold, if I were to apply today. Card balances have always been paid in full every month, and I have the means to continue doing so for years to come with sensible spending. I don't actually need the credit, and use them for purchase protection and cashback reasons. Is there any way they can discover my income without me telling them, and do I have a duty to disclose this information if not asked?

Some card agreements say that you need to tell them of a material change in circumstances, such as yours. You'd need to check your agreements.
The number of people who do reveal such information is relatively small.1 -

Looks like you've taken early retirement and have independent means of supporting yourself, based on your first thread. People do and it doesn't stop them getting a PT / FT / consultant job down the line.
Just double check your state pension entitlement, if you've not done so already, read all of it and not just the headline section.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear it in 2026.1
