    How many years ago?

Probably your own paper work at this point, depending on how long ago you’re talking about.

    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

If you've no paperwork I would start by contacting the companies you had the policies with.

Google will find current contact details for you.

Look at your bank statements from the period you were paying the premiums.  the company name will appear on there.
