I had an AEG Arctis freezer and AEG Santo Oko fridge I sold when I moved house. The buyer said he was specifically after these as they are supposed to work in the low temperatures in a garage. I don't know if they do or not as mine were in the house, but worth checking the spec of AEG?

I've been thinking of getting a fridge-freezer or just a freezer to go in my garage & quite surprisingly it seems that Beko have many models that are suitable for garages & outhouses.  I'll be honest & say it isn't a brand I'd choose to have inside my home, but at their reasonable prices I'm seriously considering one for my garage.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Living in arctic northern Scotland our garage fridge freezer had to be Beko as they were the only ones that would cope with minus 15.  Never had any problems with their fridge freezers.

We bought a Beko cabinet freezer about 4 years ago for garage.  It was the only one I found that specified ok for that use.

I've had a Beko fridge and freezer in the garage for the lat 12 years and they are both still going strong without any problems (apart from mice chewing away some of the insulation at the back of the fridge)

Beko is one of the few recommended brands for anywhere that goes below 10C
Don't get a fridge/freezer combined as if the compressor is shared you'll end up in a world of pain.

Type of garage is key here.

Our 25 year old Hotpoint is still going strong in the inner corner of our integral garage.  Doubt it would have done so well in a stand-alone single skinned structure.
