I ordered a sofa from Sofology in June, "wish i had read Truspilot" they said it took 14 weeks from order date ,ok thats fine. Had an estimated date for delivery 5th Oct but the day before i get an email to say that the sofa would be in the UK on 15th Nov!!!!! Had a previous email in Aug to say "congratulations your order is on its way back to UK??? I have tried calling them on a few occasions and have been 46th in the queue!!!! I emailed a comlaint and got a message back to say they would reply within 72 hrs, that was 5 days ago. I have now sent another email requesting a refund as i paid the whole £4000 in one go. I need advice please as to whether i can get my money back and who i go to if i am completley ignored still. Thanks.

Do you still want a sofa? I hear there are delays almost everywhere, so if you cancel, you'll just go to the back of a queue with another retailer. Isn't it worth waiting another few weeks?melevo said:I ordered a sofa from Sofology in June, "wish i had read Truspilot" they said it took 14 weeks from order date ,ok thats fine. As to whether you can cancel, what does your contract say about cancellations?0 -
Its the customer service, not being able to speak to anyone not replying to my emails. I looked on Trustpilot and people who have had furniture delivered faulty or not as it should be have had nightmare's trying to get them sorted.0

Then go through your contract and see what the terms around cancellation are.0

I bought this online and i dont have a contract, there is nothing i can find.0

Terms and conditions are on their website, I presume?0

There are companies out there that are currently holding sofas in stock in the UK. If you don't mind choosing something "off the shelf" instead of picking the precise colour etc, there are options that would allow you to have something delivered in a couple of weeks. It's against mse rules to advertise your own company on here, but I know mine isn't the only one that has stock so I don't think this counts! If it's important to you to have something made to your own specifications, you may well be better off waiting, as anything custom made is going to take longer than usual right now. Good quality British manufacturers are quoting 10-12 weeks at the moment, and Italian is 16-22 weeks depending on the company.1
