Has anyone managed to successfully switch their gas to Daligas recently?

I signed up with a requested switch date of 8 October but apart from asking me to sign my signup form, I've not heard a thing from them

    When did you apply?

I see from their application page, it seems to allow you select any desired start date, the earliest being 15 days from today.

But if you read the terms and conditions, which you had to tick and accept, then it says:
"The switching process takes a minimum of four weeks (20 working days) and a maximum of six weeks (30 working days)"

    and it also says:
"The supply of gas starts on the date that the network operator informs both us and you that switching from your former gas supplier has been successfully completed and the supply of gas to your premises continue successfully with daligas. This date of switching may be different from the date you have requested on your application form."

(I'm not sure what that means. I don't recall any network operator ever contacting me when we've changed our energy supplier in the past)

I think if I had made an application to switch supplier, and I had not heard from that supplier within a few days either as a simple confirmation that they have received the application, or better still, a full blown Welcome Letter, I would have been in contact.

(I'd also expect a 'sorry you are leaving' note from the current supplier)

Have you tried contacting Daligas? I see they even provide a freephone number :)

I applied on 23 September and selected 8 October as my switch date.

I have heard from them once, which was a request to return a copy of my tariff details physically signed, which I did on 24 September.

I've emailed them today. I'm not overly concerned just curious how long the switch has taken for other people

Did you read the Daligas feedback thread before applyiing?

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4495567/daligas/

Unfortunately the thread is now closed as no one seemed to have any feedback on them since March 2016. But still worth a read. :)

I did, but as you say, no recent experience on switching so I created a new post

I applied to switch to Daligas on 14 September (emailing the signed form to them the same day). All I've received since then was an email acknowledgement of my signed application.
However, the process may have been affected by my current gas supplier (Green) going bust later in September. I did email Daligas to ask whether my transfer would still go ahead, but received no reply.
I'm just waiting now, because if Daligas don't do the transfer, the default tariff I'm now on is a reasonable backup plan. The variable Daligas tariff I applied for is no longer on offer on their website.

I contacted them by email and recieved a reply yesterday.

Unfortunately due to the high rise of gas we cannot process your application on the standard easy 21 tariff.

The application has now been cancelled and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

So I'd imagine you are in the situation, they just aren't telling you about it.

I've replied asking them why they hadn't let me know this as the tariff was live on their website when i applied.

I'll probably push this as a complaint as them not telling me has affected my ability to get on a more reasonably priced fix, if they had told me over 2 weeks ago.

I am thinking the £30 compensation for not being switched within 15 working days may apply.

Although they will probably go bust before the process completes
