Booked EDF dual fuel fix, only electricity showing

Hi I moved house in July and booked a 3 year fixed duel fuel tariff with EDF. I was feeling quite pleased with myself
given the recent issues, but when I go on the app I only appear to have an electricity tariff. I’ve looked through my bills and have also only been charged for electricity. Now any dual fuel tariff is ridiculously expensive, but I do have an email from them saying I was applying for dual fuel so I’m not just making things up. Is it possible for them to decide to not sign me up for the gas part of the tariff I ordered?

You moved house did you then sign up with the existing supplier to that house as you where in a deemed tariff with them .

Did you give gas readings to EDF as well as electric readings .

Thanks, I didnt actually give any readings as the edf app kept saying it didnt need readings yet, so just thought I’d go with whatever they estimate.

As far as I’m aware all I did was book into the EDF fixed for dual fuel, and then to be honest I just ignored it. I probably should have noticed that I was only getting bills for electricity, but to be fair I have just had a baby and so really have not been as on top of things as I should be. Frankly right now I have no idea who supplies my gas! I think the last occupants were with british gas as I paid off a bill with them a month after I moved in.
