• Competition opened at 10am (10.00) on 06.10.2021

• Competition closes at midday (12.00) on 25.11.2021 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1)     The prize comprises a six (6) night stay in Iceland for two (2) people including;

a)     Return economy flights from London, Manchester, Birmingham or Glasgow airports to Reykjavik airport

b)    Car hire for the duration of the stay with unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver and no charge for an additional driver. The car will be a category B which will be a Volkswagen Golf or similar.

c)     One (1) night accommodation at a 3* hotel in Reykjavik sharing a standard twin or double room

d)     Daily continental breakfast

e)     Three (3) nights accommodation at Hotel Ranga in Hella, South Iceland sharing a standard twin or double room

f)      Daily continental breakfast

g)     Two (2) night accommodation at Hotel Husafell in West Iceland sharing a standard twin or double room

h)     Daily continental breakfast

i)       Comprehensive travel insurance up to the age of 75.

j)       £1000 spending money (TOTAL)

2)     Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, the winning individual must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotels. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotels and for security deposit purposes. A valid credit card will also be required to secure the car.

3)     The designated driver must be over 21 years of age and have held a full driving licence for 12 months or more.

4)     The prize must be taken by 15th December 2022 but cannot be taken between 15th December 2021 to 4th January 2022, 1st April to 20th April 2022 and 3rd June 2022 to 7th June 2022. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5.

5)     Booking is subject to availability.

6)      A cheque or bank transfer for the £1000 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed

7)     The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.

8)     Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotels or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

9)     Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

10)  If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, all entrants affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.

11)  Any additional charges or expenses due to COVID-19 which could include but are not limited to  quarantine hotels, COVID passports (should they become a requirement), COVID tests etc. will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

12)   Passports, Visas and City and ECO taxes are the responsibility and at the cost of the prize winner.  Channel 5 or Cloud Nine cannot be held responsible if the prize winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation.  For the latest advice from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on travel to Iceland, including security and local laws, plus passport and visa information, check www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

13)  The prize winner and their party (where applicable) are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / inoculations required by any destination country.  Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the prize winner and their party (where applicable).

14)  There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

15)   For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel to and from the home to the airport, gratuities, meals or other  travel expenses unless otherwise stated, or any other costs of a personal nature not stated for winner and guest.
