It's time to renew - EON
Hi all,
Bad timing... I have just received an email from EON suggesting that my fixed tariff is coming to an end next month. I am not quite sure what to do to be honest, so looking for some advise from this forum on my best option here.
Our current tariff is the Fix Online Exclusive v52 (for dual energy). EON are suggesting switching to the EON EnergyPlan, which will result in an increase of around £500 per year (total of around £1550).
Alternatively, I could go with a fix deal, but this would be even more expensive.
What shall I do?
Thanks all.
G

The consensus is to do nothing at the moment. You won't find a deal cheaper than the SVR that you'll be moved on to.2

Do nothing. The SVR for EON will be the Energy Cap rate which will be lower than any fixed deal currently on offer.1

Same as mine, the Energyplan is their SVR which was almost £500 more than my previous fixed deal.gdvenez said:Hi all,

GBut cheaper than any of their new fixed deals, 1 was £800 more, the other £1000 more 😮
I’m sticking with the SVR over the winter and hope things settle down next year!0
