Travel Insurance - Group travel

Hi,
I am investigating options for travel insurance. Is it possible for different members of a travel group to have different insurance policies, even though the travel is all through a single booking with 1 lead traveller?
Thanks in advance.

Yes , it is, but the drawback is they are only covered for. themselves, in accordance with the terms of the policy.
So, if there was a reason part of the group could not travel they would not necessary be covered if they didn't want to still go.
Should there be a claim for cancellation or other reason to claim then each would have to claim separately for their share of the costs under their own policy.
With a group policy it would be one claim to cover everybody.1 -
Hi,
I'm paying for my family to go on holiday with me next May and can't find any info on appropriate travel insurance for us all as a group (I've booked the flights and the villa direct).
I'll be taking my son and daughter, their spouses and my three grandchildren. Everything is booked in my name. Ideally, I'd like to take out a single policy that will cover us all (we don't live at the same address though).
Can anyone help or advise on where I can start looking?
Many thanks.

Be aware that you need to be given full medical history for all of them for disclosure to the insurer... this can cause some issues as not everyone wants to disclose certain conditions to their father-in-law etc.0
