Have read Newbies advice but still have a Parking Charge Notice question

Hello all

I have read all of the newbies posts (I think) & would be really grateful if someone could confirm if I've understood correctly. We recieved the first & only letter we've had for a parking charge notice, from DRP, posted by them on the 56th day following the alleged offence (7th Aug alleged, 1st & only letter notification dispatched by post on 1st October).

We've moved (and have belatedly updated our V5 forms) but the PCN went to our old address. The new owners forwarded the DRS letter to us by email & say they didnt get any other mail regarding this.

The car park (Bristol Parkway) is owned by APCOA and their website won't allow any input  because of the time elapsed- so obviously, we can't use the NTK template letter nor update our address with them. Similarly, the DRP website, only allows input for payment & there seems not to be any way to update our address - without phoning them- which I see is never advised.

Is there anything else I should be doing/ have done?

many thanks in advance

DRP are debt collectors - see fourth post of NEWBIE sticky for how to deal.  Send a SAR to the DPO of the parking company to get all your data, guidance in second post of NEWBIE.

It's been passed to DRP by APCOA because, apart from the initial Notice to Keeper, APCOA can't/won't do anything further themselves, especially at a railway station, they never have.

So an equally powerless entity is now rattling the begging bowl - and you can ignore them with impunity. The DRP letters will ramp up a bit with larger amounts added and silly threats, but you must ignore them. As you must when you receive a similar letter from Zenith Collections - that's just another stunt by DRP; Zenith is just a further operating name of DRP. It's just all smoke and mirrors, designed to part you from your hard earned money!  Sleep easy.

Come back if, in a vanishingly unlikely event, you receive anything further from APCOA (not DRP/Zenith).
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    Thanks Umkomaas -
do you think should I still go ahead with contacting APCOA Data person and ask for a SAR at this stage? I kind of feel that might put me on their radar and it's a step I could come back to, if they do go to the 'vanishingly unlikely event' scenario (fingers crossed)
your time on this is much appreciated

Smart are easy to beat by using the template defence and the NEWBIES thread explains why you will win (it names them specifically as not using a certain Act - please read it).  Are you the same poster as the start of this thread?  Not that you need a new one as this is so easy as long as the driver isn't named.
