I am fortunate enough to be cash buyer with the help of my parents. I know I need to show proof of funds to solicitors but what about EA is it safe if i forwarded details of my funds by emails through attachments. He is also asking for solicitors name and I am not instructed one yet until offer is accepted. Thanks

Does the EA have a secure method of upload? The EA I was using had an app where I uploaded documents.
Saying that, I emailed all my proof of funds to the solicitor without issue.
You can select a solicitor but tell them not to start any chargeable work until further instruction. Tell the EA who you are using but say that they won't be doing work until the offer is accepted, or if there is a chain wait until the chain is complete.2 -
You can share documents via a shared link such as dropbox, onedrive, google drive. Once the EA has confirmed they have downloaded the files you can then disable the link.1

Just black out sensitive data like account numbers and address then email it.2

To be honest I'd blank the descriptions for everything but salary and maybe the receipt of funds into your account. Is the money sat in your current account or a savings account? As a cash buyer you just need to show you have that cash available to buy the house.NOTE if the house is £245K but your balance is £260K you might want to move £10K elsewhere temporarily otherwise it gives the estate agent scope to bump up their commission.Did I say commission, I meant the price for their buyer.May you find your sister soon Helli.

I mean, even if Tesco knew that I could afford £100 for a tin of beans, they're not going to get very far in negotiating the price with me...2
