Joint mortgage with bad credit/CCJ

Heres the lowdown -
I have an unsettled CCJ for 9k and about another 15k in unpaid debts from credit cards and loans. These debts are from 2017 and i havent made any payments on them since i defaulted.
My partner has great credit history with no defaults at all.
We want to buy a house next year but my partner is convinced we wont be able to get a joint mortgage because of my debt and if she does it by herself, we are worried she might not be offered enough to buy a house. She earns about 45k on her own.
Id really appreciate it if someone can offer some advice on my situation or point me in the direction of someone who can?
Thankyou

She is wrong,
You will need the help of a good broker but a joint mortgage will be possible.I am a Mortgage Broker

You can get a joint mortgage, the rates will probably be a little higher though, but with 4 years clear, they should not be horrendous (probably 4% ball park, maybe a touch above or below).I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If you manage to obtain a joint mortgage. Don't be suprised if a charging order gets slapped on the property to secure the debt you owe. Unsure what you hoping to achieve by not addressing your debts. One assumes that you are saving for a deposit instead. Not wise as won't go unnoticed.0

Thanks for the replys.
So if we do manage to get a mortgage together and then my debts catch up with me, what could happen to the house? could it be repossessed?0 -
