I have been trying to email octopus. Their website now states they were replying within 46 hours on 30th September. On 30th September it said 10 hours.

However 7 DAYS on still no reply to our email.

How can they get away with showing typical reply times that are so far off?

They are normally really good but I’m sure at the moment they are inundated with the solr and people panicking try calling

Contact them on Twitter, much faster response time.

That statement can still be entirely mathematically correct yet still some will fall way outside of that, especially as 'typical' does not imply an average or mean response but would imply the 'mode' or most common.

So your experience doesn't disprove the statement, but that doesn't help you right now.

Can you briefly describe what you are asking about as there may be a better route to use as I imagine you directly the email to 'hello@octopus.energy' ?
