Credit card balance still showing on credit card

Hello,

I cleared mt Barclaycard when the 0% deal finished in mid August. Looking at my credit report the balance is still on there. Any idea how long it takes to clear as I'm thinking of re-mortgaging and i guessmy file would look better without £6.5k credit card balance.

It can be a couple of months to update depending on where in the cycle your payment reached them. They don't usually update individual balances as they change - they mass update once every so often, usually monthly, but as I say depends on where your payment fell in relation to their cut-off point. It'll likely be updated in the next couple of weeks.

Bear in mind that if you're looking at the free versions of your reports, they could lag up to a month behind the live view that lenders use.
