Avro Meter Reading email

I have just received an email from Avro requesting meter readings, it let me log on but gave a message " unable to retreive data at present and have added request to queue, try again in 15 mins" . I am not sure what is going on, i submitted readings to Octopus which they requested when they were appointed to take on Avro customers, i had an email the other day from Otopus saying they were training Avro staff on there systems.This all seems to be another mess in the making. Anyone had any info the actual monthly paymet they will be yet ??

  • Have received another email from Avro, informing me the transfer to Octopus is now complete and to submit a reading if possible from the 26/09. I did take readings the day they ceased trading and have now submitted them. In the future I have decided not to bother switching energy supplies ever again. So as much as i would prefer to be with one of the bigger suppliers I will stick with Octopus, just hoping they survive

    I'm guessing as they have taken Avro's customers on that will be around for the foreseeable.

    I have just given a meter reading on the email Octopus sent. The reading is from the 25/9/21 so it will be close to when Octopus start their billing.
    Someone please tell me what money is

    Octopus are on a par with Scottish Power and EDF now, they are certainly big.
  • Octopus seem to be dragging there feet with the move from Avro, not heard anything re monthly payment, they requested the meter readings I took on 26.09, when Avro collapsed, which I submitted, they haven't asked for new readings, seems I have an account set up with them but no mention of costs. Anyone else had a monthly  amount they will be wanting. Not very impressed with them so far, despite everyone saying they are very good.
