My husband is taking my son by train to Spain during the school holidays at the end of October. We have booked him a pre travel COVID test as he is 12 year old and we thought he could use to enter France and then Spain the day after. However, I have just spotted on .gov.uk that if transiting by land Spain 'may' ask for a test 48 hours before crossing their border, which the one we booked would not cover (would be 60 hours). Could anyone advise on whether he now needs another test or would Spain possibly accept a test within 72 hours as per the guidance for UK to Spain
