Are OVO allowed to increase Direct Debit.

I agree but I would rather wait until / if I have burnt off the £200. I provide meter readings every month and I know exactly how much I am spending and willing to adjust if required. Until that time I would rather keep the money in my bank rather than OVO's.0

Perhaps OVO are not keen on that idea? The idea is not to keep adjusting the DD; however willing you may be for that to happen. You earn a lot of interest on £200 in your bank??If you are in dire financial straights you can lower the DD on their website for 3 months and then the DD will be readjusted. Not suggesting you are in dire staights but it might help you in your aim.0

OVO are paying 3-5% on the difference between your balance and your direct debit. Do you want to forgo that?0
