I have a bill from September 2020 and one from 2021.
Can anyone tell me how I could work out how much in KwH I used in the last year?
The bill says how much I used from August to September but that won't help me work out an average over the year as that's a summer month.
I thought I could use the meter readings but that doesn't seem to work out.
Thanks

Are you talking about gas or electricity? Tell us the readings and someone will work it out for you - if it's gas we need to know whether it cubic metres or feet.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660

... and also if the meter readings are estimates or actual readings...

Trying to figure both gas and electric.
Gas:
September 2020: 1466
September 2021: 1991
Electric:
September 2020: 50264
September 2021: 52939
Bill says gas is in ft3.
Thank you kindly.0 -

Gas: Approx 16,544kWh, but look on the meter, not just the bill, and make sure that the meter shows ft3.Electricity: 2,675kWh2

Does that seem quite high for gas?
Meter says CUBIC FEET on it (although does have ft3) in smaller writing.0 -

Irrelevant, actual meter readings have already been provided.
