Not had mine yet, the coupons dont look as good as the ones in the first issue. I wonder if we will all get the same ones?

In the last issue I had one for 50 points for fresh raspberries which i didnt think i would use because they were £3.99 a punnet at the time. It got used eventually though when i found a rduced punnet for £1 :)

Mine were slightly different and I got quite a few more I think, I got the same as the OP, except for my steak one was half the points/half the spend, and instead of scallops I got extra points for spending £4+ on fish. Altogether I redeemed an extra 215 points for things like butter, mineral water, citrus fruit, bread, in addition to the fish, free tomatoes and hamper draw. Pretty good I thought.

I also just redeemed coupons for 500 extra points + £10 off over £50 on wine at the .com site, and got free delivery too because I actually spent over £99.

Spent loads today, but also saved a lot along the way, especially as we had coupons and bogofs that brought the store bill of £176.40 down to £116.09!

Mind you, yesterday in a different kind of store, I bought two trigger guns of a Rose Clear spray - the offer on the shelf said BOGOF (price was £3.99 each) and yet my receipt said £1.99 each ??? when I queried it, he said the 'offer' doesn't start until Monday - hmmm, ever heard of the phrase six of one and half a dozen of the other? it sounds a bit like a Trades Description case to me really?

The extra 500 clubcard points on a £50 order from tesco.com/wine mentioned above gets even better if you combine multiple offers like this:

Order £50 of wine between 20-26 June and you will get free postage (as detailed in a recent leaflet) - normally £5

You will also receive 1000 bonus clubcard points in your NOVEMBER statement as detailed in a clubcard flyer (the one with the key fob on the front) sent out with the last vouchers. This is worth £40 in Deals - but you must receive delivery of the wine by 9th July. You do not need to enter any codes for this.

This is in addition to the 500 extra points you will receive by being a Food Club member (I phoned the clubcard helpline and they confirmed this). These bonus points will apparently be credited in AUGUST. This is worth another £20 in Deals. You do not need to enter any codes for this.

Also - use the voucher code for £20 off a £50 spend on wine found in post 6 of this thread (this code is valid until 26 June):

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=54844

Use Greasypalm to make another 1% on the whole thing.

Many of the wines are currently on special offer - up to 50% off, so you will get a really good deal anyway and can easily find 18 good bottles of wine for £50.

    To summarise

Spend £50 on wine (worth up to £100 if you choose well)
    free delivery (saving £5)
Get £60 of Clubcard Deals (for Food Club members - or £40 for others)
Make 1% cashback with Greasy palm (50p)

You are therefore effectively being 'paid' £10.50 to drink 18 bottles of wine, worth up to £100!

Even if you are not a Food Club member and don't get the extra 500 points, it will still only 'cost' you £9.50 for your 18 bottles of wine!

    Not bad!

I am not sure if the 500 bonus points for Food Club members will be credited only to those customers who have already received the mailing, or if it will work if you registered with the Food Club today before placing an order. It would be worth a try (see how above) anyway as you have nothing to lose.

Please also note that all these offers are only valid for tesco.com/wine orders (i.e. through Tesco Extra) and not wine ordered in the normal Tesco online grocery store.

Mine arrived today and I got

    voucher entry for hamper draw
free tomatoes on the vine voucher
50 extra points when I spend £2 on stone and berry fruit, (annoyingly peaches are 99p this week!)
40 extra points for Tesco Olive oil (never bought olive oil!)
50 points when I buy asparagus (never bought asparagus)

    Not a very good selection.

I used my 100 extra points voucher on Saturday for buying a copy of Essentials mag but took it straight to customer service and swapped it for what I wanted, She mag and paid the extra. Cant really do that with asparagus. "Excuse me, I've bought asparagus but I should actually have bought a cabbage so can I swap it! LOL

Hi - Jap200 - thanks for the tip. I would like to do this as you suggest but am a bit confused.

I cant find how to get the free delivery - do I have to place an order after the 20th for this?? Also do the extra 1000 automatically get added without any codes etc. adding.

    Thanks for any help!!! :)

Leylauk - I understand that the free delivery will be a general promotion for the week beginning the 20th as no code was quoted. It was simply mentioned at the bottom of my wine receipt. It is possible that this is for certain customers only, but we will not know that until trying to use it on the 20th.

As far as the extra 1000 clubcard points is concerned, I telephoned the clubcard helpline myself with the same question as my wine receipt only listed the actual points received for the order - not the bonus ones. They said that it will automatically be credited in your November statement - you do not need to use a code for this either.

The same goes for the Food Club bonus points. I was assured that both sets of bonus points should be awarded - although the Food Club ones may be in August, not November.

The man on the phone toldy me to remember to check the next two clubcard statements and query it with them if they are not there and they will put it right then!!

They seem to have so many bonus points offers on at the moment (see current offers on electricals on this board) that they don't even know if their own system will work properly!!

Jap200 I have ordered some wine and rang to check re the 1000 points, and they really dont seem to know what they are doing, they seem to think it is for new custumers only, is this the case?

I have done so many of these 1000 points thing, i cant keep track, it would be so much easier if they credited them straight away.
    Pawpurrs x ;)
