Yes silly of me I know
Not necessarily silly as such but always going to be subject to more scrutiny than more conventional use of accounts, and if your explanation included "wanted a remortgage doing on my property" then it's far from obvious to me why that would involve significant cash, not that it's me who needs to know your justification of course....
  • Nothing of the sort Dunstonh just my wages it's a instant saver I move money between my cashminder and my savings etc
  • I have logged the complaint they gave me a reason and said not good enough explanation to withdraw my funds , however they have not communicated anything other than we are investigating upheld my complaint and said go to ombudsman's which I done.

I was wondering how long does this take what are my rights and what can I do
  • Any advice on  how to handle this please , I am in touch with the ceo and was advised last week they would have an update but nothing
  • meanwhile can you open another account with a different bank to have your wages paid in there?

The CEO isn't going to respond to your enquiry. Wouldn't have even seen your email.
  • The ceo has responded , and I have transferred everything else over to Lloyd's, the outstanding issue is my savings account and what timescale there is on these matters
  • I'm gathering I can't do anything at all, thank you all for your responses I do appreciate you taking time out to respond.

Do you mean you asked for the money in cash? If so, why? Which ones of your planned expenditures could you not pay for by bank transfer, debit card or cheque from your current account? How would you remortgage with cash?

How much are we talking about?
