Finding Financial Details of Deceased

My brother has just passed and has not left a will.
I'm trying tp piece together his financial affairs but don't have a lot to go on - no paperwork.
Is it possible to get a credit report of a deceased person, and if so what do I need to do that?
Thanks

Try https://www.uar.co.uk
If he was employed, do you know by whom? They might at least be willing to tell you the name of his bank where his salary was paid. If he was receiving a pension of any description, a payslip or other info should turn up before too long.
It could be a case of 'sit and wait'. If you've not done so, have his mail forwarded to you for at least the next 12 months to ensure that any bank/pension/other financial statements don't fall into the wrong hands. You need the 'special circumstances' form: https://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/special-circumstances-redirection-application-form--april-2021.pdfGoogling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
What is his marital status? Did he own his home?0

Council tax, how was that paid?
GP, dentist, HMRC, work, DWP, pensions
Any idea where he shopped.
Anything on-line, pc laptop you can go through, emails etc.
Mobile phone.
As said it may be a waiting game for paper based to start turning up.0 -
For my dad we wrote to banks with a copy of a death cert (not a certified one). It was enough to get letters back asking to complete their forms.
For shares I wrote to equinity who put me in touch with another company who searched on my behalf for listed shares.
I had poa so I knew a lot before I started, but still came across many shares and an old coop account.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
