Who is the gas supplier? - Stuck
Hi,
We have a property that is rented out currently. The tenant (residential) has gotten in touch saying their old prepay card (nPower) is not being accepted anywhere now. I’ve tried calling e.On (nPower takeover), academy (the main supplier in the area), National Grid, the Meter Number Helpline, and looking on the Find My Supplier site (as directed by uSwitch) and no joy. It’s like that property doesn’t exist. There are two more properties within that block - one is also prepay and will be having the same issue, and one that is billed monthly but is commercial and separate.
I can’t switch to another supplier until I find out who the current one is, but no one seems to know.
I’m extremely worried about it as the tenants are about to be without gas, and before I resolve what are appearing to be some deeper and more difficult issues with the building (such as it not registering with utility companies), I need to get them sorted.
Does anyone have any idea what I could do please? Would be immensely grateful for any advice.

NPower was taken over by E.oN. All ex NPower customers have been transferred to an E.oN Group subsidiary company: E.oN Next. By the sound of it you may now have what is known as a Shipperless account. I suggest that you talk to E.oN Next as it could just be a customer transfer IT issue.0
