Zipcar map issue led to PCN

Hello, everyone! Need some advice on the PCN charge from Zipcar.
Let me explain my situation:
- On Jun 18, I've rented a zipcar in London, and left it in the Pay and Display bay within the blue zipzone
- This bay is on the road which lays between Haringey and Camden. Zipcar does not operate in Camden, but the map clearly displays the whole road within the blue zipzone. I have assumed that both sides of the road are permitted to park - based on the map
- On Jul 15, I've rented a zipcar in London, and left it in the same bay
- On Jul 30 I've received PCN from Zipcar related to my rental on Jun 18. It was issued by Camden council. It was £95 in total, incl £15 fee.
- It turned out that the bay belongs to the Camden, rather than to Haringey. Looks like one side of the road belongs to Camden, and another one to Haringey
- I have emailed their support team, and attached the screenshot of the map clearly showing my parking location within blue zipzone, and also mentioned that I have correctly parked in the paid parking bay, which is included in Zipcar rental.
- On Aug 15, zipcar replied and confirmed that I am not liable for the PCN, the money were returned to my credit card.
- On Sept 13 I've received another PCN from Zipcar related to my rental on Jul 15. It was issued by Camden council again, for the same amount.
- I have replied with the same arguments as before, but this time zipcar had rejected it with some canned reply.
- I have replied that I don’t have specialist ordnance knowledge to know where the boundary between the boroughs is situated, so relied on the app and Zipcar-provided map to choose the correct parking location.
- Zipcar replied with images from PCN, and pointed out that the parking bay sign had small-font "Camden" written on it.
- I have replied that their own support page (titled “Flex Parking: Haringey”) provides low-resolution map of boroughs, and refers to the Zipcar app for exact locations. Also, their website does provide examples of allowed parking bays and signs, but it doesn’t require me to check any additional signage on the signs. The parking bay signs can contain additional information, but I am not obligated to check it.
- Zipcar had declined to cancel PCN again, and confirmed that this is their final decision.
TLDR: I think I am not liable for the charge, becuse
a) I've followed Zipcar map, which incorrectly shows borough boundaries.
b) Zipcar does not require me to check which borough owns the parking bay, only that the bay itself is correct.
c) Previous issue was resolved in my favour, so it looks like they're changing their mind.
I'd like to ask the community on whether this could be a good case for the small claims court. To me it looks like I have a strong evidence that this is the issue with the Zipcar map, but I would appreciate some sense check from the community. Thanks!

as this is council and a hire vehicle, join pepipoo fightback forums using a non hotmail email address ( gmail should be ok ) and post in their council section after reading their posting requirements firstMSE forum mainly deals with private PCNs , not councilregards4

Really appreciate the prompt reply. My question is not really about fighting the PCN itself, but rather whether this it looks like a Zipcar fault or mine. I’d benefit from a reality check from the unbiased forum members0

You might be better asking this on MSE's Motoring forum where they are more likely to have come across this type of issue than this forum has. I've been active daily on this forum for over 8 years and have never seen a similar case. Good luck. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks, Umkomaas! Sorry, I’m new to this forum - what is the best way to move the topic to another forum? Just copy&paste content, or do something else like archive this conversation, etc?0

In order to get unbiased opinions , you need to be on a forum that understands Zipcar and hire documents etc , most people like me have no experience of those 2 topics , so haven't nothing useful to add , apart from find the right forum
When my brother had a tzr250 , he went on a tzr250 forum , my lad is on a koi carp forum , etc , you find a forum that fits of like minded souls , with various experiences etc2
