Employer affects Credit Rating?

Hi all, quick check. Can who I work for affect my credit rating? I am asking as considering joining a Human Rights organisation as a full time employee but someone mentioned this to me...thought best to check it out!

Lenders will take your occupation into account as just one of many factors when assessing you for credit.

I wouldn't let it stop you getting a job though, outside of arms-dealing, prostitution or becoming an MP.
