New smart meter, is this normal?

Just had a smart meter installed. All ok, I know they don't talk for a couple of weeks which is fine. The electric shows .38p for 'the period'. The gas 8.5K is that right? Will it correct itself?

It may or may not be accurate, but yes it will get sorted.Mine was similar for the first couple of days after installation.N. Hampshire, he/him. The 38p also includes the daily standing charge. They ‘talk’ as put it straight away. Check ‘Account’ on your IHD and you should be able to see your tariff information. If this information matches your tariff then your supplier has sent out its security certificates and it can pull data from your meters; send out firmware updates etc.Techyteacher said:Just had a smart meter installed.
