Just opened todays post, and they have arrived.
I have until 22nd October to complete and return and serve copies on all other parties.
I am aware it will be their local court as I am defending as a Ltd company, but can I ask that the Hearing Venue is my local court?0 -
Yes you can ask, or suggest a court between the two, or say that you want a remote hearing to save all parries time and travel.

Or would it be ELMS Legal, their nearest is: Lincoln County Court, LN5 7PS (262 miles away)

One thing is certain.. your case won't be heard at Barnstable Magistrates Court.

I'd agree to Sheffield providing the hearing can be remote (which it will be).
The reason I say Sheffield is those Judges are generally good, well used to VCS cases and will know what to scrutise and might be your best bet as a Ltd company.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update 19th October 2021:
VCS have sent two letters to the Company registered office, when they have already been given the correct address for where to send correspondence, stating that ELMS Legal are no longer acting on their behalf.
Also, that they are willing to accept a reduced settlement charge of £185
I filed the N180 with the CCBC and ELMS Legal and had an automated response back from both.
I am going to ignore the letters and wait for the next step.
