Hi all,
looking for advice really and to worn people at the same time.
recently bought a car from car shop noticed the same day it had clutch issues so rejected the car within 48 hours of purchasing it, told carshop I would like to unwind this agreement and to be put back into my trade in as this had no defects at all. They said I can do this but I would have to pay 2500 pound on top of my trade in price to get the car back. Surly they can’t do this after all I’m rejecting the car because it’s faulty and they still have my trade in advertised for sale

If they've accepted your rejection, they have to put you back in the position you were in before the contract.
How much was the new car?
How much was the trade-in value of your old car?0
