Morning gang!👋
Wanted to pop in to say hello and catch up with you all. 😘
I've been spending money like its going out of fashion recently so feel like I really need to reign it in!!
@Bagpuss741 Thanks for the kick off this week⭐
@jadewest94 exciting about the new job👍
@determined_new_ms so happy for you back at uni 👏
@DawnW I'll think of you on my early morning dog walks - we got a puppy a few weeks ago! 🐶
We've not got any debts anymore other than the mortgage, which is a lovely feeling. We've got proper savings for the first time in forever and we've got money put aside for all annual expenses like insurance, Christmas etc that is coming up. New goal is to get 3 months ahead of expenses... I was doing well until we diverted some savings to a new car fund 😳 so now all of a sudden I'm feeling like resources are scarce and starting to notice all those purchases that crop up unexpected and things I don't really need at all... Spent £24.98 already today and it's not even 8am...🙈
Small things for today:
- Slow cooker on - pork fillet👌
- Dog walk/free exercise
- Hang washing to dry, even just 1 load (may need to put the TD on for another load!!)
- List old bedside tables for sale. One is broken (although I'm sure it's an easy fix with a bracket /wood glue... ) so not sure the best way to photo them... 🤔1
