E.ON to E.ON Next
Hello,
I have been transferred from E.ON to E.ON Next.
I had smart meters installed by E.ON earlier this year and had no problems. Now I am with E.ON Next they are not communicating.
I wondered if anyone else had had similar problems, did it right itself or did you need to contact them?
I have been asked to submit readings myself as it was over a month since a reading.

Just to be clear, you are talking about the actual meters and not the In House Display?Each supplier has to send out a security certificate to each of your meters. The meter menus will show whether E.ON Next is the designated supplier. Also check that the WAN light on the comms hub is flashing normally. If either of these things are amiss, then contact E.oN Next.You can also check whether your meters are connected to The DCC network by signing up to N3rgy.com (use the I am consumer tab). If data is present, then your meters are communicating with the Network.2

Since the new name from E.ON to E.ON Next I've had another email already even tho I'm not due for another 2 months which was supposed to be quarterly I paid last mouth I received another email, this month requesting meter reading. As if it wasnt bad last year they decided to dip they're fingers into my direct debt and take advance payment now it seems since the new brand name they want payment early! It seems E.ON is going down hill and I'm hoping to switch soon once I find how much the energy bill has skyrocket then asking the question do I heat or do I eat E.ON Next move is yours1

We were switched mid November and our meter has stopped communicating.
I asked them on FB chat and they said it can take at least 8 weeks, and I should wait at least 12 weeks before chasing it up.
Our IHD is still working ok.
I just did manual readings on 1/1/22 and had a bill same day.How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)1 -
I cannot remember the exact date I swapped but my last smart meter reading with E.ON was 30/08/2021 and first smart meter reading from Eon Next was 10/11/2021.
I was on quarterly bills with E.ON now monthly with E.ON Next, they do not do quarterly.
