Afternoon! Raining! SUrprise...My sister sent pics of Famouth, very sunny, nice bunting in the streets...I'm not jealous at all...OK,I am a little bit. It was an interesting few days in Wales. Thursday the guy turned up and too a van load which didn't make much of dent in the stuff there and Friday I did three tip runs and cut the grass. I wasn't good for anything for the rest of the night and Saturday too. Even filling up the car three times [ and I did jam pack the back full] didn't make much of a difference, just enough room to move some stuff around so it is more visible so my sister can say yes or no to the stuff. There was a pile of wood held up by wire above where I was clearing, so obviously, the wire broke and I got clonked on the head with a piece of bannister rail and on the knuckle by another piece of falling wood. I was not happy, so I spent the next ten minutes loudly cursing and swearing at my father for collecting all this rubbish...I told him, I don't care, it's all bloody well going [ with more swearage obviously] . I gave the big ladder and a belt sander to a neighbour.Came back last night after visiting my favourite clothes shop and purchasing some winter options, cats and OH pleased to see me..Today has been sorting finances so far, paying bils and moving money around to various savings accounts. I'm going back again in a weeks time for the survey but next week I'll be doing the table, dresser and taking the garden down for the winter. I'm hoping to save my geraniums but I haven't had a great track record so far. We'll see.Hope you're all cuddling in blankets today, it's not great out there...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi9

I thought I had posted this morning, obviously not. A clear but windy day, good for washing drying.#
I have finished the 24 snowflakes I was making for Christmas presents, have to do a pair of Angel wings for my S sons tree. Then I am off to other things.
DB out in the garden this morning, planting onions. I have just started to use this years crop, they should keep me going for a while.
I have had our bedroom wardrobe on gumtree for a while, it has now been sold, collected this afternoon, a big space in the bedroom where it had been. Amazed at the difference in colour of the carpet underneath where it stood. Getting towards the bedroom being decorated and a new carpet. Just need to sort out the decorator and choose a carpet.
Cooking chicken crown for supper tonight with roasted veg, no dessert, we will have fruit.8 -

Dry day here but chilly. Went to Church - heating on but with the windows open - it wasn't cosy.
