Hi we have 2 under 18 who have had their first jab. We went to get their second jab yesterday and have been told they can’t have the second jab until they are 18. We are due to fly to Spain. Are they classified as fully vaccinated or do we still have to do all the tests for them? Thanks

Under 18s without underlying health conditions and not living with someone who is clinically vulnerable are currently only being given one jab. Once they reach 17 yrs and 9 months they will be eligible for their second in order to be fully vaccinated by the time they are 18.
Spain has its own rules, and won't count one vaccine as fully vaccinated, so they will need to comply with whatever testing rules Spain has put in place.
