Hi
How do I turn off an ipod whilst it is mains charging
I turn it off, but as soon as I plug in the power adapter it turns back on....
It;s a 3rd Generation Ipod.

Press the play/pause button and hold it down till the player goes off.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Hmm, I have 4th G and whenever I charge it it is off but I get the animated battery icon. Is that what you mean? It should turn off automatically (revert to battery icon).Sometimes you get what you deserve... :cool2:0

I have replaced the battery and I have turned it off, but when I plug it into the mains charger it opens up and dislays the last screen it was on.
Now its not displaying anything - no icons on the screen - - - oh dear.....
Something wrong I think
