Not sure what to do re Pure Planet fix
Hoping for some thoughts and opinions as not sure how to proceed.
I am currently on a pure planet variable rate, spending about £850 a year. I got an email a month or two ago saying price going up on the 3rd of october, projected spend is 980 or so.
I had a look at the offered fix, and have either a set electricity and gas rate for 12mths at projected £1,300, or an "EV" fix for 12mths with daytime and nighttime electricity rates which they are projecting at 1,150 for the year.
Initially I was going to sit tight and see what happened with the variable rate later in the year. Especiually after seeing some of the bonkers fixes people were having quoted. But for the sake of another 200 quid I am tempted by the fix, especially as it will ride me out past Apr 22.
What are others doing?

Is that for one or both fuels? If that is for both fuels, it seems good to me in the current climate, that is hopefully they don’t also fail like the others.Think I’d bite the arm off (not hand) for those prices, especially as I’m being moved from PFP to British Gas and projected is over £2kORIGINAL MORTGAGE AMOUNT £106,454.00 (Started Sept 2007)

If you are talking about offers made in the email you got ' a month or two ago', I'd suggest you check to see if they're still available!0
