Mis sold extended car warranty

Hi, I bought a car last Sunday 26/09/21 on finance for the purpose of driving tuition, I was sold an expensive extended 3yr warranty with the promise of it being covered for the job I do, however ive since read the terms and conditions of the warranty which clearly states that 'the car must not be used for the purpose of hire or reward or for the purpose of professional instruction', I've rang the garage that sold it me but can't get further than the receptionist and no one ever returns my calls, I just wandered if anyone could advise me of where I stand legally, I've today tried ringing the company that provide the warranty but they're not open until Monday so I'll try again then. If you've purchased it for business purposes then you have no consumer rights. Clearly if you've been sold it as covering the work you do it would be a breach of a (verbal ) contract but they could just deny this and you'd need to convince a judge that was what was said.0

It was purchased under my personal name not my business name, my profession was put on the paperwork, so what your saying is I have purchased something that I've paid £3000 for which I cannot use but yet I have no rights? Can I also note there is a 14 day cooling off period and I'm only in my 6th day. Tia

Is there a possibility that there is an option to cancel the warranty, in the Ts and Cs, within a limited time period? Presumably it is from a third party?

Yes it is from a third party and also has a 14 day cooling of period0

But it was added to the sale of the car so essentially the finance company have paid for it, have you any idea of how it will work and do you think I need to seek legal advice? I'm having a complete meltdown about it 😭😭0

£3000 for a car to be used for instruction doesn't look like a good business advert.0 -
