Deemed supply after house move
We are possibly about to make an offer to an “all electric” property so the current increase in energy prices is a consideration. Can I confirm that even with E7 the “deemed supply” KWh rates the incumbent supplier will put us on can be no more than the cap, and that we can just stay on that unless/until a cheaper rate becomes available - hopefully sometime in summer 2022

Correct, you will be on a capped tariff.

Yes but with the caveat the cap will most likely increase a lot in April. We will all have to move over to electric, however I pressume most would install a electric boiler, what system is installed?0

It’s underfloor dry heating, with additional ceiling heating for the really cold days. Fortunately the house has good thick walls, double glazing etc. There are 8 other owners in the development (a 90’s refurb/rebuild of a country house) so there I think would be scope for some kind of communal approach to the installation of a ground source heat pump0
