Recently moved. Should I move all information with me or keep it at home address?
HelloWonderful

During the Summer I believed I was in a position to apply to buy a house. When I was rejected by the bank I checked the 3 major credit agencies and found my score lacking (mainly because I rarely ever used credit). I’ve taken steps since to take out a Credit Card and to pay it off straight away being one example.
I have recently decided to rent a property as I have been living at home. My question is “Should I move all my details to fall in line at this new address or should I keep everything at my family address?” Which is more beneficial for my score or is it irrelevant?

The score is completely irrelevant.
You should have your accounts at the address you live at. Inconsistencies worry lenders.0 -
If you have moved, your new address is your home address.
As zx81 says, you need to report your home address to the CRAs.
You also need to advise your bank(s) and any other credit providers of your new address, and they will report this to some or all of the CRAs.
Inconsistencies may not just worry mortgage lenders, but also make them less likely to lend you money.0
