Ofgem consults on issuing final orders to five suppliers over £7 million late RO payments

Payment was due from following suppliers on 31 Aug / 01 Sep 2021 and remains unpaid.

Ampoweruk - £3,590,236 

Colorado Energy - £883,182.30

Goto Energy - £2,472,369

Home Energy Trading - £2,252

Whoop Energy - £56,306


If the final orders are confirmed later this month, the five suppliers will be compelled to pay into the buy-out fund by 31 October 2021 (plus late payment interest). If they do not pay, Ofgem could start the process of revoking their licences to supply energy.

Correct, nothing fishy about that.

I only see Colorado Energy had Dyball Associates as a company officer (secretary)
They resigned 1 May 2020
The last accounts for Colorado Energy, for period ending 30 November 2019, were dormant accounts.

As for Ampower, they had a common director of Dyball Associates.
Ampower was incorporated 9 February 2016
The director was appointed on that day, and resigned 17 July 2017
Accounts filed for the period up to 28 February 2017 indicate the only assets of the company were £10, reflecting the shares issued.

I think only ampower and goto supply domestic properties.

ampower is already not accepting new customers, I think I read it was for the same 'technical problems' Symbio had.

Goto energy still appearing on comparison sites, and was still accepting new customers last time I checked.
