I've booked an Airbnb holiday for March 2022 but now unable to make it. Terms say when cancelling you have to pay the first 30 days accommodation.
For such a long notice this seams highly unreasonable. Has anyone found a way around this?
Thanks

Each reservation has it’s own T&Cs which you can check before booking - are there extenuating circumstances which mean you have to cancel?0

The 30 days applies to long term bookings. How long were you going for? This isn’t a Covid issue, this is change of mind btw.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
This is nothing to do with COVID.Did you not read the T&Cs before booking? If you just changed your mind this isn’t the property owner or AirBnB’s issue, you’ll need to appeal to their better nature.
Bear in mind that if the terms do cover this, you’re not entitled to anything so if you lose your rag with them, you’ll likely get no help.0
