Land registry

10 months ago I bought my late mum and dads house. Land registry still haven’t updated. Is this usual to take this long? Is there a chance it will be rejected? I do have a mortgage on the house so can’t see that going through if it was to be rejected. I’m just worried that 10 months is a little long.

Yes, it's due to the pandemic and mass buying / selling of properties.
Limited chance as your solicitor would have done everything right.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
The LR was in an absolute 2s8d before covid due I think to a systems change.
If you need to sell a property that's stuck in the queue there is theoretically a fast track process, although I know some people who tried to invoke this and "fast' would not be my adjective of choice.0 -
Thank you. No I’m not looking at selling. I just got a bit worried incase something went wrong. I also need a small loan against the property.0
