Bulb previous billing period increased bill
I have been taking screenshots of my Bulb account as advised by Martin Lewis and I'm glad I did, because my last bill I paid was for approximately £87. I have just checked my app and they have changed this to approximately £97. I am a loyal Bulb customer but this is a bit of a cheeky move by them. I am over £200 in credit and I have screenshot that too .

What actually changed on the bill though?More units perhaps? It isn't necessarily wrong, but you have to look at why rather than the amount alone...1

Yes, this happens to a lot of people.
Why has the bill changed? Was the 1st based on estimate readings or actual readings? Likewise, what readings were used on the revised statement? These questions should assist in working out why they've been amended.0 -
It may be coincidental but that increase basically matches the increase in the price cap implemented today.
As above, the change isn't necessarily 'wrong' depending on the predicted use/cost over the coming winter.0 -
I have just listened to a similar tale on R4. DD payments; credit/debit balances, and monthly charges mean nothing unless they are based on smart; actual or customer readings.2
