Looking to get in-person PCR test in London.

Hey everyone,

I need to get a PCR test (specifically; an RT-PCR test) so I can get on my flight but I'm not really sure about where to get my PCR done.

Initially I was going to go with Randox as the agent I booked the flight from gave me a discount code for their PCR test but after reading so many negative reviews about them I was thinking of going with someone like Superdrug (£99) or Boots (£79). I live in south east London and the Superdrug and Boots stores that offer the in-person PCR testing are not that far away.

My flight is on a Friday afternoon and they have a 72 hours before embarkation test validity window so I was thinking of getting an appointment on that Wednesday before noon. Is this a good idea or should I book for Tuesday morning / afternoon? Superdrug says next day but Boots says within 48 hours.

Are the places I mentioned ok? Just a bit nervous as this is the first time I'll be doing all this procedure.

Advice would be appreciated, thank you.

There is somewhere at St Pancras station that is meant to be well regarded.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is it the Collison test centre? Their price for a RT-PCR is actually pretty good.
Why are they well regarded, is it a reputable company?

Also if you were me; would you get your test done on a Tuesday or Wednesday if you had a flight on a Friday afternoon?
